How To Apply, Once You Have Achieved Improved Grades
The application letter for the Academic Excellence Award must be written on your School’s letterhead, and signed by a Head of Department, Head of CCA, or a member of the School’s Management Committee.
The letter must state:
- Background of Project
- Names of people leading the Project, their roles and their experience in managing Projects of similar nature
- Objective(s) of the Project – how is it a milestone, achievable, and measurable
- Specific outcomes and benefits of the Project, including multiplier impact
- Strategy of achieving the desired outcomes and benefits
- Supporting documents

Project Parameters
Generally, we are not able to support:
- Conferences, seminars and symposiums
- Fundraising events
- Individual requests for scholarships or bursaries
- Infrastructure
- Operational costs
- Overseas trips
- Political activities
- Religious activities
Exceptions for the Academic Excellence Award will be considered on a case-by-case basis
